  There is an error in the November Newsletter regarding the concert dates.  The dates in the table are correct: December 11th and 12th.  The dates in the paragraph above that are incorrect.  Sorry for the miscommunication.

Vote To Earn Money For Our Playground

Round 2 of the Aviva Community Fund Contest starts today and we need your help! Aviva is sponsoring a fantastic contest that promotes positive change in communities across the country and we've entered our school's playground revitalization project. Now we need everyone to vote for Grosvenor-Wentworth if we want to crack the top 30 and make it through to the Semi-Finals. (All top 30 entries will win $5000 plus the chance to go for the big prize!) We can qualify if everyone we know votes and votes often- once a day, every day, for the next 14 days- it only takes a few seconds each day but could make a big difference! Sweet Treat Raffle Cancellation

The Sweet Treat Raffle was meant to be a little Halloween fun for the children & a lot of fun for some of the fancy cake decorators at Grosvenor. In response to concerns about nutritional value & overwhelming fundraising, we have cancelled the Sweet Treat Raffle on October 31st. Those of you who love to bake & decorate... please share your treats with friends and family, or members of the PTG.             Happy Halloween from the PTG.

Candidates’ Forum Thursday, October 11th

The three Halifax Regional School Board candidates for the District 5 seat will be hosting an open forum on October 11 at 7 pm at the Ecole Burton Ettinger School gym (52 Alex St) Faye LeBlanc has graciously agreed to moderate the discussion.

It's a great opportunity for you to meet your candidates and ask them any questions you might have. Please pass this message on to any residents of District 5 who you think might be interested in attending!
